Our beautiful boutique accommodation and lush camping sites provide an affordable refuge for you to rest and spend time with your travel companions (both human and canine). Take your dog for a walk with a mountain view, let your kids run freely through the gardens or cosy up for some board games in The Den Lounge.

From a beautiful self contained historic villa, to comfortable family rooms, cute healing Lolly caravan, powered, non powered and tent sites, there is something for everyone to relax and restore body, mind and soul for a while.

If the Villa has not been booked as a holiday home, you are welcome to book it as individual rooms and then share the facilities as a mini backpackers outside of the peak Summer season. Please get in touch if you would like this option and it is not showing as available on my website.

Greenstone Retreat is an oasis for like-minded travellers where you can meet new people and find yourself outside of the demands of day-to-day life. The affordable pricing allows diverse people to invest their valuable time and attention into a longer stay, creating a cosy feeling of community.

What’s included? Or what do I need to bring?

All beds are fully made up with linen and duvets. Towels, hotwater bottles and extra blankets are also provided. Kitchens are equipped with pots, pans, crockery, cutlery, hob, toaster, microwave, oven etc. Salt, pepper, herbs, and oil is also provided. Bring your food, milk, personal items, toiletries, games and books. It is a TV free zone to enhance your quality time and the wifi works throughout. Continental breakfast can be arranged in advance and there is a very basic wee shop for some essentials.

Be as relaxed or as active as you please. Greenstone Retreat is a perfectly situated base to explore the West Coast comfortably and affordably. Jump on your bike and hit the cycle trail, go for a walk along a secluded beach or enjoy a short, scenic day trip to hotspots like the Pancake Rocks and Glaciers. Stay longer and save. Meet Your Hostess

Kate is the fairy-godmother of Greenstone Retreat. She has been breathing new life into the place since 2015, creating glorious garden spaces and restoring the historic villa. Each area is carefully and thoughtfully tended to bring out its best.

Under Kate’s leadership, Greenstone Retreat has become the Holistic Wellness and Yoga Hub on the West Coast. She curates community experiences and connections through the retreat that bring healing and relief. With a passion for Yoga, people and life, Kate is always keen to chat and share meaningful conversation and local guidance so you have the perfect break away.

DOGS that are well behaved are welcome to stay with prior arrangement. No animals are to be allowed on the beds or furniture and please keep them close to you and under control at all times. On arrival, please make voice contact with me prior to letting your dog out of the vehicle. I have 2 dogs (Scout and Buttons) which may be onsite and Scout spaniel is not always very good at meeting new dogs, so I will put her in her garden when you arrive. Thanks for your understanding.

EVOLve studio hire for healings, retreats and workshops.

You are welcome to hire the studio to run your own wellness event or gathering subject to availability and terms. Studio hire is $50 per day or $10 per hour plus $2 per person. Can fit up to 20 people. Yoga mats available, and some blankets and props.

Kate is more than happy to help, co-host, support and guide as needed to make your event run smoothly.
